Hating Pregnancy, Doesn’t Make You a Bad Mom w/ Allie Schwartz
Allie Schwartz is a mom to Aiden. Aiden is eight months old now. She's been married for two and a half years. She's just a normal mom trying to survive motherhood, & saving money for her kids' therapy.
In this episode, we talk about a "controversial topic". Hating being pregnant! A lot of people are afraid to talk about this topic in fear of being judged as a "bad mom". Allie dives right in and she is brutally honest. I think that we need a little bit more of that or just a safe place or person to be able to come to and talk about how you really feel.
Not liking being pregnant, doesn't make you not want your baby. It doesn't make you a bad mom.
She also talks about mourning her past life, her old life, pre-baby, and how she's adjusting to the new baby life. She shared with us her experience with her placenta pills, and how it helped her with postpartum and anxiety.
She shares advice about sleeping & going with your mama gut.
This is a great episode, especially if you are scared to get pregnant, not excited about pregnancy, or you're grieving the life before baby. It is real and honest.
